The university for the elderly in Jingjiang was set up in the afternoon on 25th April, and the Director of CPP of Jingjiang City,Mr Bing Ni, the CPPCC Chairman MrJinghua Qian, the Honorary Chairman of Charitable Funds, Mr Yuanlin Ren, and the Chairman, Mr Jiangyuo Liu all attended this donation ceremony.

Yuanlin Charitable Fund has donatedto build universities for the elderly in Jiangyin, Jingjiang and Taixing City, and the university in Jingjiang is the first one completed. It has 28 classrooms, 3 exercise rooms for the elderly, reading room, meeting room, movie room, clinics and so on which are equipped with completed modern facilities and advanced teaching equipment. After delivery, they will be seriously managed according to constitutions and supervised by Yuanlin Funds in the following four aspects, leading system, teaching activities, logistics management, and satisfaction evaluation.

It is said that the university for the elderly in Jiangyin City will be completed at the end of May, and the university in Taixing City will be handed over in June.
